Exaggeration is a great creative strategy. It’s one of my “go to” idea starters when I begin a concept project, and I think both of these employ exaggeration to great success. I am not sure what kind of results the campaigns generated, but from a purely creative standpoint, as someone who spends his days in the creative trenches, I admire the quick, clean, impactful simplicity of them.
